BIO
It is inevitable that Justin has felt drawn to accounting since a very young age. Coming from a numerically talented family, Justin is the youngest son of CPA parents, the younger brother to a CPA, and the grandson of a CPA. One could say it is in his blood. Besides the inspiration from his family, he enjoys solving challenges, and the ever-changing financial industry is never without them.
Justin began his career at HeimLantz as an intern in the summer of 2022 and joined the firm full-time in 2024, after graduating with a Bachelor of Business Management degree. He now serves as a Staff Account for the Tax Business Unit, focusing on business tax preparation for real estate, agriculture, and construction industries. His tenacity, drive to work hard, and passion to learn, make him an asset to the HeimLantz team and his clients.
Born and raised in Calvery County, Maryland, and a current resident of Lothian, his interest and knowledge of local business is evident. During his down time, Justin can be found playing golf or ice hockey. As an American history buff and avid reader, his favorite book is “The Quartet: Orchestrating the Second American Revolution” by Joseph Ellis, which details the formation of the federal government. Unsurprisingly, his favorite quote comes from Benjamin Franklin who said, “Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.”
