Annmarie Kirby, EA

Annmarie is dedicated and persistent. She strives to develop a deep knowledge of each of her clients’ tax situations in order to best serve them. Her long-term goals are always to maximize tax advantages. Annmarie spent four years of her life living in Japan, which helped her to develop the ability to learn the intricacies and mindset of a different culture—lessons that she applies to her client relationships. Annmarie’s love of logic and detail translate well into the accounting field, which is why she chose to pursue a career in the area, and why she loves what she does.

Known for her years of professional tax experience and dedication to providing quality service, Annmarie is a great asset to the HeimLantz team. Her primary responsibilities include preparing estate, gift and fiduciary tax returns.  She also prepares tax returns for businesses and individuals and has experience performing reviews and audits. Annmarie is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Prior to joining HeimLantz, Annmarie spent two years as a Staff Accountant with Knowles & Edge and four years as a Senior Staff Accountant with Bishop Farmer & Co.

Raised in Pensacola, Florida, Annmarie currently lives in Annapolis with her husband, Sam. Together they have two daughters, with whom they love to spend time. Annmarie enjoys almost everything Annapolis has to offer, but particularly likes the history and the water. Outside of the office, she likes to spend her time working on house renovation projects.
