History

HeimLantz was established in 2001 when Carter Heim and Tom Lantz—who each grew successful accounting practices from the mid-1970s through the 1990s—chose to merge their firms. Today, the firm is backed by nearly 50 years of experience. Operating out of offices in Annapolis, Maryland, Alexandria, Virginia, and Lexington Park, Maryland, the HeimLantz team of professionals serves organizations throughout the mid-Atlantic, with a particular focus on the greater Washington D.C., Annapolis, Baltimore, and Northern Virginia metro areas.

Client Satisfaction

At HeimLantz, we utilize the Net Promoter Score to gauge our clients’ satisfaction, identify our strengths, and discover areas of improvement. The survey assigns a score based on respondents’ answers to one simple question—“How likely is it that you would recommend HeimLantz to a friend?”—and the reasons for the rating they give.

We are grateful to share that on our most recent survey, we received an overall NPS score of 88 (on a scale of -100 to +100). This puts us on par with customer service leaders like Tesla (97) and Apple (89). Additional insights from the survey include:
