The Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) has announced its 2024 Women to Watch Awards nominees, to be presented at a ceremony on September 26, 2024. MACPA will recognize winners in two categories, Emerging Leaders and Experienced Leaders. HeimLantz is proud to announce that Senior Manager Annemarie Heim has been nominated as one of the honorees.
The awards recognize emerging leaders “who…contribute to the profession through service and implementation of impactful initiatives” and experienced leaders “who have established their roles as leaders in their organizations by advancing to the highest levels of management or ownership, and by mentoring those following in their footsteps.” During her fifteen years at HeimLantz, Annemarie has proven herself to be a leader not only to the teams she leads but also to the clients she serves.
Annemarie specializes in business tax with a focus on real estate and professional services. She believes that building strong personal relationships with clients brings value above and beyond the professional services HeimLantz provides. By understanding, meeting, and exceeding clients’ needs, Annemarie contributes to HeimLantz’s goal of making lives better.
Annemarie is an active participant in the accounting community through her memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of CPAs. She is also the Treasurer for the Piney Orchard Community Association in Odenton, MD and an assistant Den Leader for the Cub Scouts.
