One of Brenda’s mom’s favorite songs is “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack. She says the words inspire her to live life to the fullest.
Brenda’s favorite holiday is Christmas. She loves watching Christmas movies, laughing, and spending time with family.
Brenda’s favorite toy as a kid was her Strawberry Shortcake doll collection and Holly Hobbie Easy Bake Oven.
BIO
An experienced professional, Brenda’s dependability and steadiness make her an enormous asset to her clients and colleagues alike.
Early in her career, Brenda worked as a paralegal at law firms in Florida and Virginia. In 2006, she took a job as office manager at a Maryland law firm. In this role, Brenda encountered the accounting world and quickly fell in love. She fostered this new-found passion by enrolling in the University of Maryland’s University College and pursuing a degree in accounting. After graduating in 2012, Brenda joined Murray, Wamsley and Schrader, LLC where she worked in audit, business tax preparation, and government contract accounting. Currently, in her role as a senior accountant with HeimLantz, she continues to focus on government contract accounting, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial statement preparation.
Brenda was raised in Pennsylvania and Florida. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she lived in many areas around the United States and in Japan in order to accommodate her husband, Tony’s, Navy career. Upon Tony’s retirement from the Navy in 2016, they settled in Fort Worth, Texas, where Brenda works remotely for HeimLantz. Together they have three grown children, two of whom currently live in Texas and one in Colorado. Brenda enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading suspense books, and watching movies.
